ARTICLES OF FORENINGEN SLM KØBENHAVN

Important: This English translation is non-binding in a legal sense and for information only. In case of any question or dispute, the articles in Danish shall be used.

§1 – The association's name and registered office

1.1 The association's name is Foreningen SLM København.
1.2 The association's registered office is Copenhagen Municipality

§2 – The purpose of the association

2.1 The purpose of the association is:
- a) To promote camaraderie between like-minded and establish contact with similar fetish clubs in Denmark and abroad.
- b) To run a common meeting place for the association's members.
2.2 The association is independent of party political interests and/or any forms of racist positions. Manifestations or promotion thereof may not take place in connection with the association and may result in exclusion.
2.3 The association operates from the association's premises.
2.4 The association owns its own premises.
2.5 Entering into a lease or agreement on the purchase or sale of real estate can only take place after the general meeting's prior authorization. In the same way, the general meeting can authorize the board to incur debt to the association by a qualified majority based on the same principle as § 11.1 and 11.2 of the articles of association.

§3 – Membership circle

3.1 Anyone who has the desire and willingness to work for the association's purposes and who has paid the membership fee can be admitted as a member.
3.2 Members must be 18 years of age to be admitted.
3.3 Persons can be appointed as honorary members by a majority of the board members. An honorary member will have lifelong A membership of the Foreningen SLM København and will also have the right to vote at the association's general meetings.
3.4 When visiting the association, a valid membership card must be presented before entry.
3.5 The board determines the entrance fee for the association events.

§4 – Member rights

4.1 Membership of the association is obtained by purchasing an A membership. A full calendar year's membership (January-December) with the right to vote at the general meeting and access to the club on all opening days on presentation of a valid membership card and payment of the applicable entrance fee.
4.2 The A members' membership fee is set by the general meeting. Memberships can last a maximum of one calendar year.
4.3 The board may decide to have a passive membership for limited and/or more expensive access to the club. These members do not have the right to vote at the general meeting, and cannot volunteer in the club.
4.4 Members' clothing in the association's premises must follow the dress code in force at all times, which is laid down in the rules of procedure.
4.5 A member can be quarantined or excluded if an unanimous board deems that the member's behavior is contrary to the association's articles of association and/or house rules. An excluded member or a member who has been quarantined has the right to bring the decision forward to the next ordinary general meeting.
4.6 Cancellation of membership can be made by contacting Foreningen SLM København in writing and will have immediate effect. Refunds cannot be made in whole or in part of the paid membership fee.
