TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PAYMENT OF MEMBERSHIP FEE

The following terms and conditions apply in relation to payment of membership fee on the SLM København website:

  1. The legal responsible for payments of membership fee is Foreningen SLM København (VAT no. DK-26450500), Lavendelstræde 17, baghuset, stuen - 1462 København K.
  2. If you are not familiar with SLM København, you should make yourself familiar with the articles of the association and other information to understand the purpose of the association.
  3. The membership will be effective immediatly after completion and confirmation of membership fee payment.
  4. Payment of membership fee cannot be reversed. The provisions of the Danish Sale of Goods Act regarding the right of cancellation of a purchase does not apply to signing up for a membership of an association (payment of membership fee) once the membership has become effective. Cancellation of a membership can be requested by contacting Foreningen SLM København in writing and has immediate effect. Refunds cannot be made in whole or in part of the membership fee.
  5. When attending events at SLM København, you must always comply with the house rules. Violation of the club rules may result in expulsion. Membership fees are not refunded in case of expulsion.
  6. A membership only grants access to an event with a dress code if the dress code is strictly followed. Membership fees and entry fees are not refunded in such cases.
  7. Payment of membership fees are handled via the payment service provider FREEPAY, where your name, e-mail address and credit card information are registered. You can read more about our policy regarding protection of personal information (GDPR) here.
  8. Most common credit cards are accepted (Dankort, VISA, Mastercard, JCB, Diners/Discover) and 3D Secure security is used.
  9. Foreningen SLM København does not charge separate fees in relation to payment by credit card. Your credit card company/bank may charge a transaction fee or an currency exchange fee. Such fees are beyond the control of SLM København.
  10. If you wish to complain about a membership fee payment, please contact slm-cph@slm-cph.dk stating the membership number, name and e-mail address on the membership card. Complains can also be submitted via the Complaint portal to Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark. If you are a citizen of another EU country, you can also submit your complaint online via the complaint platform of the EU Commision.
